The seven pit bulls kept in a house in via Rodi, on the Quartu coast, which had already mauled three dogs, the last one only a few days ago , and which had now become the terror of the residents, will now no longer be able to cause problems.

After the intervention of the veterinary service of the ASL and the local police and after the reports and petitions of the inhabitants of the area, the ordinance of the mayor Graziano Milia has arrived which provides for a series of measures towards the owner of the animals who will also have to arrange to transfer them to another more suitable place.

According to what is written in the ordinance, first of all, within three days, not only will the pit bulls and other dogs present have to be removed from the house in via Rodi, but three of these not yet identified will also have to be microchipped .

Furthermore, the owner must wear dogs with a muzzle and leash "whenever he is in urban areas and in places open to the public".

Furthermore, he will have the obligation to participate in a training course at his expense for the detention of challenging dogs, indicated by the Local Health Authority, with the obligation to communicate to the Local Police and will have to take out a specific civil liability insurance policy for damages against third parties for each dog held and corresponding to the microchips indicated above and for any other pitbull/American Staffordshire terrier breed dogs, not present in the list.
