We are requesting the return of the terracotta male head and the marble slabs recovered from the waters of Pula, so that they can be displayed at the Giovanni Patroni city museum, which is due to reopen soon.

Mayor Walter Cabasino has submitted a formal request to the Superintendency for the concession of the precious artifacts, dating back to Roman times, recovered from the sea in recent months and presented to the public for the first time during a PulArchàios conference.

"Our Administration and our fellow citizens," explains Cabasino, "also thanks to the efforts implemented by the Pula Cultura Diffusa Foundation, have been actively engaged for several years in preserving, protecting, safeguarding, enhancing, and passing on this heritage to future generations. Further opportunities to achieve this goal will certainly be represented by the full availability of the new Patroni Museum, which we are preparing to reopen to the public after its restoration; the terracotta head discovered by the members of the Cagliari Comsubin SDAI Unit of the Navy; and two marble artifacts recovered from the seabed of Nora by the Carabinieri diving unit following a citizen's report."
