An autopsy has been ordered on the body of Andreana Demuro , the 58-year-old woman who died on provincial road 90 , following a head-on collision while travelling towards Trinità d'Agultu, where she lived.
The tragedy occurred on Wednesday morning, around 8:30 a.m. , while the woman was traveling in her Renault Clio. The devastating impact occurred on provincial road 90, in Lu Falzaggiu, at kilometer 35, when the driver of a Mazda SUV, a 58-year-old from Cagliari, crossed into the lane, forcing the woman to swerve, but was unable to avoid a head-on collision.
The woman from Trinità died instantly . Her body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Institute in Sassari for an autopsy.
We will have to wait for the autopsy results and the return of the body to the family before scheduling a funeral date.
