Portovesme srl, procurement workers in permanent assembly

Since this morning, the procurement workers have been in a permanent assembly, in the square of Portovesme srl, with a presence in the procurement reception desk.

About fifty workers from various companies are at risk of zero-hour layoffs due to the reduction in work. All the contract workers joined the assembly.

Two tents were set up in front of the garrison. During this morning's assembly, the unions called for an urgent summons from the Region to take stock of the energy dispute. "It must be clear that layoffs are not the solution - they said - the objective is the production recovery of all the plants".
