The notes of “The Four Seasons”, an opera by the musician and composer Antonio Vivaldi, will echo within the ancient walls of the Basilica of San Gavino, the Romanesque church of Porto Torres.

Tomorrow at 9:30 pm, the atmosphere will be filled with the musical effects of the famous composition describing natural phenomena such as storms, rain, and wind, a work expertly performed by the Ars Musicandi Ensemble with Marco Ligas as concert violinist.

The concert, part of the rich program of the 20th edition of the Musica&Natura concert series , organized by the Musicando Insieme Association, represents a tribute to the famous series of concerts published in 1725, "Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'invenzione", and aims to take the audience on a journey through the seasons of nature and life, evoking landscapes, emotions and pastoral scenes thanks to the evocative power of Vivaldi's music and sonnets.

The work “The Four Seasons”, the most famous of the repertoire, are four short violin concertos , in which each season is composed of three movements that immerse the audience in the heart of the elements of nature, representing spring, summer, autumn and winter.
