Porto Torres, scary fire in the countryside along the truck road

A vast fire has heavily affected the countryside along the road, at the entrance to Porto Torres , the strong wind pushed the tongues of fire which burned reeds and vegetation along the road.

The fire reached the borders of the truck at the junction for Stintino at kilometer 229.5, with several outbreaks triggered in different areas of the countryside . On site, engaged in the extinguishing operation, several fire brigade teams from the Porto Torres headquarters and the provincial command of Sassari.

The carabinieri of the Porto Torres company and the local traffic police were also on site. The flames, in fact, touched the road. The intervention of the 115 teams is still underway.
