This is the conclusion of the direct report, in the afternoon in court in Sassari, for a 41-year-old from Porto Torres. Accused of robbery and aggravated injuries for the theft of mobile phones committed yesterday in the Granai area, also in Porto Torres, against two young men.
A subtraction that took place while the teenagers were sitting on a bench: the man allegedly put pressure on the neck of one of the two, leaving a mark, perhaps with a card or other object. As soon as the police report was filed, the carabinieri of the local station went in search of the 41-year-old, already known to the police, placing him in custody.
This morning the man, defended by the lawyer Nicola Ribichesu, appeared before the judge Paolo Bulla and the prosecutor Paolo Piras. The latter asked Bancali for precautionary custody, a request that the magistrate accepted, postponing to 18 September for the choice of the alternative procedure or for the opening of the hearing.
