Porto Torres, fear in via Matteotti: fire from a bag of waste on the balcony of a building
Flames a short distance from a LPG cylinder: the alarm was raised by a resident and the intervention of the firefighters averted the worst

Fear in via Matteotti, a few steps from the city centre of Porto Torres , where the firefighters intervened to deal with a fire reported on the third floor of a building , in front of the Andrea Parodi theatre.
A spark , started by a garbage bag, kept on the outside balcony of a house , ignited the flames that rose high towards the air conditioning unit, near a LPG cylinder . The flames blackened part of the facade.
A boy living on the fourth floor of the building raised the alarm. Seeing the flames, he immediately called the police and the fire brigade who immediately put out the fire, limiting the damage to a limited area . "I was scared," the boy said, "I thought it was a cigarette thrown in the garbage, it could have been worse if it hadn't been for the promptness with which the 115 teams intervened."
An ambulance from 118 and two patrols of the Carabinieri from the Porto Torres company were present on site.
