Territorial continuity stops again: you no longer fly from Milan to Cagliari, but it is also almost impossible to find a seat on board the planes heading to Olbia and Alghero.

Taking a look at the Ita Airways website or App today, there are no connections available with Linate. Not even for emergencies. Those who cannot wait are forced to make do by stopping in Rome: a Plan B that can cost over 600 euros. And the same script repeats throughout the next week.

The first difficulties have already surfaced in recent days, especially in the Cagliari airport. So much so that the Department of Transport has written to Ita Airways – and ENAC – to ask for a change of direction. To have an improvement it would be sufficient to respect the ministerial decree on territorial continuity: among the various rules there is also the one that requires companies to add new connections.

Not only that: in another communication, the lack of a "dedicated and free telephone number" to support passengers in the event of date changes, refund requests or complaints is also underlined. A service that, in the transition from the old Alitalia to the new national airline, got lost along the way. Ita Airways responded to the councilor's communications by adding some connections, which had the effect of a few drops of rain in the desert: as soon as the flights went on sale, the tickets evaporated. Untraceable after a few hours.
