Airgreen srl has once again won the regional tender for the provision of the helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS - Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) in Sardinia for the period 2027-2035, for a total value of over 165 million euros .

The Regional Procurement Center has thus concluded the public tender process, conducted according to the most economically advantageous tender criterion. "We want to build a modern, stable, and long-term air ambulance service," stated Alessandra Todde , President and Interim Health Councilor. "We're talking about an essential service for citizens' right to health, especially in inland areas, in the most isolated zones, and in all those situations where prompt intervention can make a difference."

"With this award," Todde adds, "we're securing a strategic service within the emergency network and providing Areus with the tools to continue strengthening the regional system, focusing on quality, efficiency, and continuity of care."

The regional HEMS network, once fully operational, will operate on four bases .
