The revocation of permits issued to the Sardinian-Brazilian real estate company Tavolara Bay has not been suspended, and the appeals have been adjourned until December . These are the rulings of the Sardinian Regional Administrative Court (TAR) in the complex administrative dispute surrounding the Cala di Finanza case. Today, before the judges were the lawyers for the real estate company controlled by JHSF Participações (Marcello Clarich and Gian Comita Ragnedda), while opposing them were lawyers for the State, the Sardinian Region, the Municipality of Loiri Porto San Paolo (Carlo Careddu), and the GRIG (Grig Group) (Carlo Melis Costa).
The president of the Regional Administrative Court, Tito Aru, has reached a comprehensive decision on all appeals, with the consent of the parties. The hearing of the cases has been adjourned until December; the judges will consider Tavolara Bay's appeals at the end of the year . The company considers the permit revocations to be unlawful, starting with the government's decision (Department for the South) that removed the conditions for the construction of seven luxury bungalows in Cala Finanza.
Meanwhile, revocations and bans remain confirmed. For now, the Region, GRIG, and the Municipality of Loiri have been upheld (but only regarding the precautionary measures). Tavolara Bay will play its real game in December and then February 2027, when the Region's appeal against the ZES will be heard . In this complicated web of appeals and counter-appeals, Tavolara Bay has received a ruling allowing it to maintain the containers at Cala Finanza . These are the modules (offices, changing rooms, services, and warehouses) covering an area of approximately 500 square meters near Villa Joy . The prefabricated buildings can remain, but they cannot be used to support the (suspended) tourist accommodation activities of the villa purchased by Tavolara Bay.
