A joint operation by the Forestry Corps and the Port Authority along the coastal stretch between Villasimius and Muravera. The inspection, which involved the Villasimius Naval Base and the Villaputzu Forestry Corps Station, the State Property and Litigation Section of Cagliari, and the Villasimius Port Authority Section, identified numerous violations.

Beach businesses and concession holders were charged with irregularities. These include occupying areas exceeding the limits of the state concession, failing to comply with regulatory distances between adjacent concessions, occupying the five-meter buffer zone from the shoreline with umbrellas and other beach equipment. Furthermore, the positioning of equipment near the dune system, the inappropriate use of designated areas for storing beach equipment, and the failure to provide walkways for disabled access. Finally, the mooring of vessels in prohibited areas and the lack of additional lifeguard stations and towers required for the extension of the concession's seafront.
The administrative fines imposed total over fifteen thousand euros, with the obligation to restore compliance. During the operation, the drones owned by the CFVA were also used . The inspection will continue in the coming weeks along the entire coastal strip of southern Sardinia, to ensure compliance with current legislation and the protection of environmental and state-owned assets.
