The Oristano Municipal Council begins the examination of the "Single programming document 2024-2026". Meanwhile, the Council has given the green light to the budget forecast for the next three years. «The salient fact - observes the mayor Massimiliano Sanna, «is the invariance of the tax pressure. Taxes do not increase and services remain unchanged. In a moment of serious economic difficulty for the country, with evident consequences also for local finance, this is an extraordinary result, the result of a precise will of this administration".

For Imu and Tari the same rates as in 2023 are envisaged, for the municipal Irpef surtax those established by the Council in May 2022 remain in force.

This time the council acted early (the 2023-2025 budget was approved on 31 May 2023, significantly behind the deadline). For the competent councilor Luca Faedda «having the main document of the municipal economic policy by 31 December allows us to open up new programming opportunities that have very rarely been possible to take advantage of».

The 2024 budget closes with a total of 159 million 705 thousand euros, the 2025 budget with 187 million 685 thousand euros and the 2026 budget with a total of 149 million 833 thousand euros.
