Three weekends among the woods, trails, and landscapes of Sardinia, with free excursions, sports, and outdoor activities, by reservation only. "Forestas Insieme – Festival delle Foresta" (Forests Together – Forest Festival) is back, the initiative organized by the Forestas Agency to showcase the island's natural heritage.
The first event is scheduled for Saturday, November 7th and Sunday, November 8th, in the Montarbu Forest, in Seui. It's an opportunity to spend a few hours immersed in nature, including guided walks, mountain biking, archery, and wellness sessions. There will also be yoga and outdoor meditation, while seminars and exhibitions will provide insights into the world of forests and their biodiversity.
The festival will stop in three different areas of Sardinia. After the weekend in Seui, the program will continue on November 1, 4, and 15 at Monte Lerno , in the Pattada area, where activities will include kayaking excursions on the lake. The final event will be on November 21 and 22 at Monte Arci , in the Morgongiori and Pau areas.
Saturday will be dedicated primarily to meetings and exhibitions, while Sunday will be dedicated more to outdoor experiences. From simple trails to excursions for experienced hikers, the goal is to engage people of all ages and offer a first-hand look at some of the most evocative corners of Sardinia's forest heritage. All events are free, but online registration is required, subject to availability. Registration is individual and can be made through the event's dedicated website, forestasinsieme.simplybook.it, where information on activities and program updates are also available.
