A bloody weekend in the Nuoro area, with one common denominator: the bladed weapons that, even in recent news, have brought pain and blood to the holidays and which this time, only fortunately, did not turn the celebration into tragedy.

Three young people were injured by stab wounds following an argument in separate incidents. The most seriously injured is 23-year-old Giuseppe Frau, originally from Desulo, who was stabbed to the abdomen on Sunday during the final night of the "La montagna produce" demonstration . The young man is hospitalized in the Surgery Unit of the San Francesco Hospital in Nuoro. Stabbings were also reported Sunday morning in Nuoro and Irgoli.

The party nearly turned tragic on Sunday night around 3:00 a.m. when an argument between two young people ended with a stab to the stomach. The incident occurred at "Sa parada degli artisti," a venue that houses a refreshment stand, plays music until late at night, and has always attracted a large crowd of young people.

The fight, while dozens of young people were still present, apparently took place outside. The assailant ran away. Friends of the young man, who lives in the Cagliari area but returns to Desulo with his family during the holidays, reportedly took him to the emergency medical service and then accompanied him to the emergency room of San Francesco Hospital, where he was admitted to the surgery ward and kept under close observation. His life is not in danger.

Another man who was reportedly rescued near Via Repubblica in Nuoro on Sunday morning around 11:00 is in less serious condition. Bleeding from the head and abdomen, Simone Flore was reportedly attacked by several foreigners , struck in the head and abdomen with a sharp weapon, possibly a broken bottle or a knife. Initially transported with a red code, his wound was found to be superficial, although he was losing blood profusely.

Carabinieri officers from the Nuoro Company responded to the scene and began investigating the incident to identify the perpetrators and understand the context in which the fight broke out.

A Moldovan man who attacked a fellow Moldovan workmate between Saturday and Sunday was immediately identified and reported by members of the Nuoro Flying Squad. The incident occurred in Irgoli. The argument also resulted in a knife wound. Fortunately, the man's injuries are not serious, and after receiving initial treatment, he was released from the hospital and able to return home.
