Hungry, yes, but for good things. For this reason , a 22-year-old from Nuoro was arrested for stealing a pack of zeppole from a supermarket worth just a few euros . It happened on Friday in Nuoro, when the young woman entered the supermarket on Via Liguria .
After wandering around the shelves, she took a package containing zeppole and left without paying for it. The maneuver was noticed by one of the sales assistants, who chased the thief trying to take back the package, worth a few euros, and put it back on the shelves. Armed with a cell phone, the sales assistant in work uniform photographed the woman to gather evidence of the theft, until she reached her near Piazza Veneto .
It was at that very moment that the 22-year-old, seeing the cell phone, according to what has emerged so far, allegedly ordered the clerk to delete the video. A tug-of-war ensued, the clerk's lab coat got the worst of it, being torn during the fight . In the meantime, the police were alerted, and the two were reached by the police cars, who arrested the 22-year-old . The Prosecutor's Office has charged the young woman with improper robbery, as the girl, despite not being armed, used force to escape from the clerk.
The girl explained that, having no money, she had stolen because she was hungry . Defended by the lawyer Giuseppe Floris, the young woman appeared before judge Claudia Falchi Delitala on Saturday for the summary trial. After the arrest was validated, the 22-year-old was released.
