Macomer, big party and participation in "SportInsieme"

Teams and individuals from all over the island faced each other. In the end everyone was awarded, winners and losers, in an atmosphere of great celebration and joyful participation. It was a great moment of aggregation through sport and healthy competition that organized by the "Tottuparis" association, with "SportInsieme", the event for inclusion that took place yesterday in the sports facilities of Sertinu in Macomer, in front of hundreds of people, coming from all parts of Sardinia.

The protagonists of the day are the disabled, around 200 athletes, with basketball, basketball, soccer, swimming and archery teams. The teams and individuals, with disabilities and non-disabled, faced each other in a passionate way, with a smile. Together they created an exciting sporting event.

The participation of the regional group of Oftal, the voluntary association involved in transporting the sick to Lourdes, was interesting, in particular the guests of the "Villa Chiara" center in Olbia, led by the regional president Tore Acca. After the competitions, everyone gathered in the hall of the multipurpose centre, where the "Sa Mesa" volunteers organized an important convivial moment. Great participation of the disabled in the corner reserved for painting, skilfully guided by the local artist Giulio Ledda.
