More disruptions to air travel in Sardinia, after the Black Saturday at the national level. Yesterday afternoon, flight FR2686 Cagliari-London (Ryanair) departed with a delay of over three hours: it was supposed to take off at 15:20, but did so only at 18:39. The reason is linked to the lack of the plane, which was supposed to arrive at 14:55 but did so - for reasons not dependent on the Elmas airport - with a delay of over two hours. Subsequently, it was necessary to reschedule the departure slot.

The passengers remained at the airport until the situation was resolved. They received prompt assistance on the ground from Sogaerdyn and airline staff, with the distribution of coupons to be used in the airport's refreshment points. Boarding procedures were started one hour before departure, i.e. shortly before 6:00 p.m.

Inconvenience for passengers, forced to wait before departure and to arrive in London with a significant delay compared to the scheduled time. The landing should have taken place at 17:05, instead it took place at 20:07 (local time, 21:07 in Italy) at Stansted airport. As required by law, in these cases it is possible to ask for compensation given the delay of more than three hours .
