A large fire broke out late this morning in Quartucciu, in the Pill'e Matta area. Vegetation, waste and tires went up in flames: the column of smoke was clearly visible, even from a distance.

There are some businesses nearby that were not involved in the fire (which has not yet been put out).

Firefighters, volunteers, Civil Protection and a helicopter are intervening on site.
