Large fire in the Sedini countryside: Canadair in flight

A large fire broke out in the countryside of Sedini, in the Lu Sassu area bordering Nulvi, where the flames attacked and destroyed part of the green lung, including a cork oak forest and surrounding sheep and cattle farms threatened by the fire.

A rugged location with difficult-to-access country roads. Firefighting operations are underway, both by land and from above, with the deployment of three Canadairs and Forestry Corps teams, supported by firefighters, Forestas patrols, and Barracelli.

The firefighters' response to the large fire, which threatens to spread due to the wind, is proving difficult.
