On the second day of the forum on justice and insularity, life in Sardinian prisons was discussed at the Unione Sarda. From magistrates and experts an appeal to the institutions: to strengthen the system of alternative measures to detention in prison.

"The data - declared the official of the penitentiary police Alessandra Uscidda - demonstrate the value and usefulness of alternative measures that significantly reduce the possibility of a recidivism". The forum, in the Giorgio Pisano hall of the Unione Sarda, offered various operational indications on the judicial organization "of which - explains Maria Antonietta Mongiu, president of the Technical-Scientific Committee for Insularity in the Constitution - politics must take into account.
