The little dog, the precious barber and hairdresser tools, the sea and the gaze turned towards the future.

Quartu remembers Thomas Frau, one of the 19-year-olds who died in the tragic clash in Via Vesalio in Cagliari on the night between 19 and 20 January.

The artist Emanuele Boi aka "Skan" created a mural to pay homage to the boy who dreamed of being a hairdresser and had already been working in a salon in the city, in Quartu, for some time.

His dreams were shattered in that damned accident in via Vesalio, when his Peugeot 207 crashed into a Maserati. With his friend of the same age, Federico Cubeddu, Thomas was returning from the disco with an 18-year-old friend of theirs who was injured. Frau died instantly, Cubeddu a few hours later at the Brotzu hospital, where he had been transported by 118 in desperate conditions. Cubeddu would have turned 20 on February 4th, Frau, who was driving the car, at the end of August.
