A serious and environmentally dangerous situation . This is the situation visible in the Selargius countryside in the Sa Muxiurida – Su Pezzu Mannu area, where several illegal landfills have appeared over the years.

The Legal Intervention Group denounced the situation: "The area has now become a commercial hub for waste , which is also incinerated at various times of the day and night. This is a very serious situation, highly dangerous for the environment and human health."

The association has submitted numerous requests over time, some dating back to 2016, and "the Municipality of Selargius has undertaken numerous activities to clean up a large, but not constantly monitored, area."

The uncontrolled dumping of all kinds of waste continues. "It has even increased, according to various reports from residents. Waste fires are also frequent, especially near an illegal Roma camp."

For this reason, the Grig, having collected citizens' reports, has forwarded a new request for environmental information and the adoption of appropriate measures to the competent authorities and the Public Prosecutor's Office.
