Illegal hunting and fishing, violations of an environmental nature and attempts to access areas under seizure.

Everything happens in the Santa Gilla lagoon in Cagliari where the Forestry Corps, as part of checks for the protection of fauna and environmental resources, has denounced three people and contested four violations regarding fishing.

Specifically, a man was reported because he was caught red-handed while hunting in the permanent wildlife protection oasis . He risks a six-month prison sentence, the hunter's rifle and ammunition were also confiscated.

Instead, in the locality of "Donna Laura", on the east bank of the lagoon where access is blocked because it is subject to criminal seizure for illegal occupation, two people were "caught" while trying to reach the area on board a small boat. The intervention of the Foresters averted the occupation and led to the denunciation of the two men for the crime of breaking seals, risking up to three years in prison .

Four administrative fines for a total value of 4,000 euros were instead imposed for shellfish fishing without a license: 30 kilos of clams were confiscated and returned to the lagoon .
