A 34-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman and another 45-year-old man ended up in jail, the first resident in Assemini and the other two in the Is Mirrionis district of Cagliari . The first of those arrested will have to serve 14 years, 8 months and 4 days in prison; the second 7 years, 7 months and 11 days; the last one 11 years, one month and 10 days .
What alarmed the military at the time was the constant and increasingly large presence of drug addicts in the Santissima Trinità hospital . In May 2015, 11 drug dealers were arrested, many of them minors, and 16 kilos of drugs were seized. On May 10, 2018, a second round of arrests, 14, during a blitz that led to the search of 40 houses and 140 people .
Now, slowly, the first definitive sentences of the Cassation are arriving with the relative prison orders.
