Chaos within the majority over appointments to the Local Health Authorities (ASLs) has postponed the Council's consideration of the motions on Article 41 bis.

The Chamber was convened at 10:30, but proceedings were immediately interrupted by the request of the FdI group leader Paolo Truzzu to change the agenda , placing healthcare at the top of the agenda: "We are concerned about the Democratic Party's statements. When they talk about illegitimate resolutions and responsible parties, it means that someone is irresponsible. This is why we ask the president to explain to us what happened , considering the resolutions appointing the directors of the Cagliari and Olbia local health authorities in contempt of the rulings of the TAR and the Constitutional Court."

During the recess, a group leaders' conference convened: the M5S immediately made clear its intention to move forward with the motions, while the Democratic Party announced a group meeting. At the end, Democratic Party group leader Roberto Deriu spoke: "We are against the FdI's proposal to address health issues extemporaneously during a session convened for something completely different . Instead, we want to continue our widespread and thorough work to reopen the discussion on health issues. As our secretary Silvio Lai announced, we will involve all our local and central bodies because the Democratic Party has a lot to say on health."

The Chamber resumed its work a short while ago to examine the motions on Article 41 bis.
