He allegedly received, between 2007 and 2020, an INPS accompanying allowance for a total amount of 189 thousand euros, falsely declaring that he was absolutely blind.

The protagonist is a 60-year-old from Sassari, unmasked by the Guardia di Finanza.

The investigations were carried out mainly through observation and shadowing services, as well as documentary evidence and financial assessments. In this way it was possible to monitor the behavior of the man, apparently not compatible with his declared invalidity of "absolute blindness".

The 60-year-old was denounced on charges of "aggravated fraud to obtain public funds", a crime punishable by imprisonment from 1 to 6 years.
