Indicted for sexual assault. Today in court in Sassari, the preliminary hearing judge Giuseppe Grotteria ordered the trial of a 40-year-old from Campania who, according to the accusations, abused a 27-year-old woman on a ship in Porto Torres in 2022 .
The man, according to the indictment, allegedly took advantage of the young woman inside a small room on the vessel, first attempting to kiss her on the mouth several times, despite the other person's explicit dissent, then blocking her and raping her .
The judge admitted the constitution of the civil party and added the biological report to the trial file. The 40-year-old is defended by the lawyer Maria Laura Masi of the Torre Annunziata court while the civil party is represented by the lawyers Daniela Onano of the Cagliari court and Giuseppe Melis.
