The body of Emmanuel Probst , the firefighter resident in Paris and who died Sunday morning in Porto Corallo , on the coast of Villaputzu, will return to France tomorrow while he was engaged in a race in solitude.

Killed by a cardiovascular collapse, the man, with an Italian mother, from Villaputzu , had been rescued by a motorist who had also called 118 and the police of the station.

All in vain: the fireman had died instantly. Today the body will leave the Villaputzu cemetery to return to France: it will be buried in the “Le père lachaise” cemetery in Paris. The mother and sister of the victim who had arrived in Sardinia in early July to spend the holidays will also return to France with the body of the firefighter.

A very sad story that aroused great pain in Villaputzu where Emmanuel Probst's mother was born, who as a child had left the country with her family, emigrating to France.

"A tragedy - said the mayor of Villaputzu Sandro Porcu - that filled us with pain".

The carabinieri, the major Massimo Meloni and the lieutenant Antonio Soro were also close to the family, who dealt with the sad story as soon as the body was found in the Mureraru area: the investigations were immediately started to trace the name and surname of the victim. After a few hours it was Emmanuel's mother and sister who officially recognized the body .
