"Tonight we had to do the surgery that no one would ever want to do. Our president is no longer with us. Unfortunately, an illness took him away and now there is only sadness, dismay": the announcement of volunteers and members of the Acra di Nuraminis association, which deals with volunteering and rescue, is saddened. This time, their president Alberto Musio, a former carabiniere, well known in the world of volunteering, passed away. He was 75 years old. He was also vice president of the Legalità Sardegna association.
"We are still here, at the headquarters, with the phones ringing continuously and we inform everyone of his passing," explains with a heart full of pain Eugenio Pinna, one of the association's councilors, who gives the sad announcement through the social page of the Acra dedicated to Fausto Lai.
"We need you to be close to us, we need you to support us in our pain. We need to hear him here again, with us, telling us his jokes. We need him, but above all we need you. These won't be easy days, on the contrary. But we must be able to bring out all the strength we have. We have already faced difficult situations: this is one of them", the message continues, "Alberto, we are here, we will continue to be here, and we will be with you. We will accompany you to your departure".
