The "Education and Prevention in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" series continues in Villanova Monteleone with a talk by Alberto Pellai, an initiative organized by the Interrios cultural association of Villanova Monteleone and the Parish of San Leonardo, in collaboration with the municipal administration and the Il Labirinto bookshop of Alghero.
This second event, aimed at families, schools, the social sphere, children, young people, adults, and educators, will take place on July 25th at 7:30 pm in Piazzetta Raimondo Piras, adjacent to "Su Palau" in Villanova Monteleone.
Alberto Pellai , a physician, developmental psychotherapist, and researcher at the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Milan, a leading figure in the Italian landscape for his in-depth knowledge of child and adolescent development, will discuss the topic of "Becoming Authoritative Parents Again in the Age of Smartphones and Artificial Intelligence," starting from his book "Training for Life."
This meeting is intended as an essential guide for parents, educators, and anyone who wishes to address the educational challenges of the third millennium with practical tools and a renewed awareness of their role. In an era characterized by rapid change and new vulnerabilities among younger generations, it will be important to rediscover the importance of "life training," a process that aims to enable young people to draw on their own resources to overcome challenges and achieve authentic and lasting happiness.
We will also discuss the pervasive diffusion of digital culture and social media, which have profoundly altered the educational landscape, often generating an inner emptiness, particularly among adolescents and young people.
