They had raised the alarm about the new price list established by the ministry, which provided (starting from April 1st) "impractical" figures for outpatient services, with cuts in reimbursements of up to 70% , and had warned that - under those conditions - they would were forced to leave the national health service, give up accreditation, and make patients pay for services entirely.

Now comes a breath of fresh air for analysis laboratories and outpatient specialist facilities: everything is postponed until the end of the year.

«With great satisfaction and relief we learn that the Minister of Health Schillaci has extended the tariffs currently in force for specialist outpatient care until 31 December 2024, stimulated by the president of the Lazio Region, Rocca and by the Union of Ambulatory and Polyclinics (UAP) to which Federlab Sardegna also joins by virtue of its membership of Confapi Sanità", underlines Enrico Tinti, president of Federlab Sardegna in a note. «This very important extension for the very existence of the laboratory structures and for the integrity of the regional healthcare system allows the Region, within the technical tariff table, more time to be able to develop a regional tariff capable of covering the costs of outpatient services and allow the sustainability of services".
