"Large ditches , inadequate construction site fencing , and a lack of night-time lighting": in the Cagliari neighborhood of Sant'Elia, and in particular in Piazza Silesu, Piazza Falchi, and Piazza Demuro, where redevelopment work is underway, there is a "safety and environmental alarm."
The launch was made by municipal councilor Ferdinando Secchi (Lega-Anima Sardegna), who denounced the situation and called for immediate verification measures to guarantee the safety of residents and the protection of workers .
After an inspection, documented with numerous photos, the opposition representative speaks of "potholes without adequate signage, and a lack of nighttime lighting in the passageways, which creates a very high risk for anyone."
Secchi complains that residents "are not being protected. Furthermore, there are no walkways or safe passages for people with disabilities and reduced mobility to exit buildings, thus denying a fundamental right."
The centre-right municipal councillor also expressed concern "for the workers" .
