"I want to say this to all the people who were interested in his story, who called us from different countries around the world, who cried. Fulmine rests in the vineyard that was my father's for a long time, now he is in animal paradise": Sara Sechi is moved as she talks about her mongrel, the dog who in 2021 was nicknamed the Italian Hachicko, from the film Hachiko - Your Best Friend, with Richard Gere, the story of an Akita dog who waited for his owner at a train station for ten years.

Fulmine died some time ago, he had become famous because he went to the grave of his owner, Leonardo Sechi, in the cemetery of Badesi. Sara, Leonardo's daughter, says: «Yes, Fulmine is no longer with us. When in 2021, after my father's death, news of the visits to the cemetery began to circulate, I was called from half the world. Journalists from Japan, from the United States, everyone wanted to know about Fulmine. The bond he had with my father was impressive, very strong».

But Fulmine's story is not over. Sara says: «I'm adding a chapter to this beautiful story that concerns my family and me. Fulmine helped me in a difficult period, I was very tired because of an illness. He was always with me, he never left me alone. The doctors told me that I was healed, the next day he left. Goodbye Fulmine».
