Severe weather is expected to hit the island early next week.

According to ilMeteo.it forecasts, Sunday will be sunny or partly cloudy across all regions, with the exception of Sardinia and Sicily, where the sky will be very cloudy .

On Monday, however, the weather will progressively worsen, especially in Sardinia , where rain, sirocco winds and rough seas with progressively increasing swell are expected in the evening.

As for the outlook for Tuesday, Arpas reports: "The day will be characterized by cloudy skies with isolated precipitation, including showers or thunderstorms."
