A serious traffic accident occurred this morning on State Road 195, near the refinery in Sarroch. Around 7:40 a.m., a head-on collision occurred between a car, a Mitsubishi Pajero SUV, and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was the one who fared the worst, requiring the intervention of a 118 mobile medical resuscitation unit. Three occupants and a hunting dog were found in the off-road vehicle, all of whom were unharmed.

After providing initial treatment on site, paramedics ordered emergency transport to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari with a red code.

The call for help reached the operations room of the fire brigade command which sent the "4A" emergency response team of the Cagliari port city detachment of firefighters to the scene.

Law enforcement officers also arrived at the scene of the accident to conduct legal investigations and determine the circumstances of the collision.
