A now centuries-old genre, accompanied by a vibrant subculture and with no intention of leaving us, which will be offered tomorrow for a whole day in the greenery: on Sunday 14th the doors of Campidarte (Ussana) will open at 12 for CampiSwing , which will involve the public in a proposal created by Cagliari Lindy Circus and Swing Dance Society , with workshops, moments of socialization, selected and live music.

After the initial welcome and communal meal, the dancing will begin at 3 pm with the workshop " Let's play the steal dance! ", dedicated to the ways and rules of "stealing" another dancing couple's member (called, depending on the role, "leader" or "follower") during moments of wild and lively lindy hop, typical of swing dancing.

Then at 4 pm , a quick interlude of musical selections curated by Lindy Circus, before the concert by the Nuoro Swing Pioneers : made up of Simone Dionigi Pala (tenor sax), Raffaele Mele (guitar), Mauro Dore (double bass and trumpet), Mauro Conti (drums), and Ivan Nocerino (vocals), pioneers of the swing revival in the Barbagia area and an active participant in the broader twinning between the various communities of swing enthusiasts on the island. Their debut album, " Hop! ", dates back to 2020. At the end of the live set, the selection of tracks offered by Cagliari Lindy Circus returns, which will accompany the performance until 8 pm .
