Two people were seriously injured in a road accident that occurred this afternoon along provincial road 54 between Nuraminis and Serramanna. A Peugeot 207 driven by a 44-year-old and a tractor driven by a 34-year-old collided.

On impact the tractor overturned and the car crumpled. The carabinieri, firefighters and 118 ambulances intervened on site and transported the two injured people to the Polyclinic in code red.

The road was blocked for a few hours.
