Calasetta, the story of the vet: "So I gave birth to 20 sharks from their dying mother"

Giuliano Rovere, veterinarian of Calasetta , on the morning of May 1st, on the Saline beach brought to light about twenty fry from the belly of a beached and now helpless blue shark, and with evident injuries.

The little ones, thanks to the precious hands of the vet, have taken off. Albeit with many difficulties.

Rovere, who arrived on the beach following a call to check the shark's condition, says: «I immediately noticed the swollen abdomen and the presence of the little sharks: the tails were sticking out, certainly thanks to the last efforts of the mother, in an attempt to give to life the little ones".

The agents of the station and naval base of the Sant'Antioco forestry corps were also on site to assist in the operations ( HERE THE NEWS ).
