One of the prettiest and most eye-catching students in the school. But precisely for this reason, she had become the target of other girls, just fourteen years old, and for months she was bullied by her peers. First she was mocked on social media, then it escalated to physical assault. The case, which occurred at a middle school in the Alto Oristanese area, concluded with a verbal warning from the police commissioner against the fourteen-year-old who had been stalking her classmate for months.

This is one of the many cases of youth distress and deviance to which the Police Headquarters is paying particular attention. This year, the Crime Prevention Division has implemented a total of 101 measures. Reports increased particularly during the summer, and from June to today, 48 measures have been issued, one every two days. To date, eight verbal warnings and one reprimand have been issued to minors (the total was eight in 2025). In addition to the case of bullying at the middle school, other incidents include a brawl in Oristano's Cathedral Square at the beginning of the year, drug dealing incidents, and a few thefts.
"The student's incident confirms the need for prompt intervention in cases of behavior that, if underestimated, can escalate into more serious forms of deviance," the Police Headquarters said.
