A second body was found this morning in Cala Fighera, where Manola Mascia's body was found two days ago. There is no official confirmation but it is certain that it is her boyfriend who disappeared with her, Paolo Durzu.

For hours, naval and air vehicles and the Fire Brigade, Harbour Master's Office and Flying Squad searched for the 33-year-old , who vanished into thin air together with the 28-year-old woman from Cagliari who fell from a cliff, his body reported by a hiker who had seen it floating in the sea.

From an initial external examination by the coroner on Mascia's body, a wound to the skull emerged that can be traced back to a fall from a height, no obvious signs of violence even though the autopsy is awaited, which will be performed today. Next to the young woman was Paolo Durzu's fanny pack, inside which was the wallet with documents and the cell phone.

The two lovers had gone away together on Tuesday, since then no one has been able to contact them and the parents, worried about both their cell phones being turned off, raised the alarm. Why did they reach that inaccessible point of the Sella del Diavolo? And what happened? They certainly loved that view, we read in some comments on social media.

From the first investigations, it seems that there were no problems between the couple. The relationship, which began two years ago, was serene as confirmed by Durzu's parents. The agents are working to reconstruct the last hours of the two young people's lives and their movements.
