Water dripping from the ceiling and buckets on the floor to collect the slow dripping. This is the situation in some classrooms at the Bacaredda-Scano Institute in Cagliari that are temporarily hosting students from the nearby Michelangelo high school, now undergoing renovation. The two schools are both on Via Grandi, adjacent to each other. It's a shame that for the students of the science school, after the move, the problems are not over.

It was the principal of Michelangelo Raffaele Rossi who reported the water infiltration, which occurred over the weekend, in the classrooms that now accommodate high school students on the first floor of the building. There, some squares of the false ceiling were soaked with water, the same water that then formed a puddle on the floor. Initially, it was thought that it was the result of a malfunctioning heating system, but, following checks by technicians, it emerged that the problem was caused by the heavy rains over the weekend. In fact, little by little, the leak decreased.

With a quick intervention, the possible access routes of the water were sealed, to prevent future new infiltrations. Despite the work, however, the students did not enter the school today. "Some small pieces of debris also came off the wall," the parents reported.
