A new, very serious incident occurred in the heart of Olbia , a short distance from the Basilica of San Simplicio. In a now completely abandoned area, two young men, one Tunisian and the other Sudanese, confronted each other .

The latter was the one who fared the worst, struck all over his body by numerous blows. According to initial investigations by law enforcement, the perpetrator of the stabbing used a large knife to strike the victim in the chest, abdomen, and neck .

The Sudanese man was transferred to the hospital in Olbia in serious condition, and doctors immediately arranged for him to be transferred to the operating room for a delicate surgical procedure .

The young Tunisian citizen, also injured, is in custody . The showdown, which also involved other people, took place on Via Vittorio Veneto and then near the Basilica of San Simplicio.
