The signage has changed, the directions of travel have been distorted, everything around is changing. Not them, they've always been there, for months.

The barriers in the lower part of via Sassari, close to the intersection with viale La Playa, in Cagliari , had been placed to surround the roof of a manhole that was disconnected and dangerous for cars and pedestrians in transit.

Those who hoped it was a temporary solution were disappointed: holes in the asphalt and barriers remain, with attached signs signaling the danger.

Meanwhile, the workers of the Municipality intervened to trace the new parking lots and horizontal signs, after the change of direction in the street.

Now the barriers are right at the turning point of the Arst buses directed towards the nearby station in Piazza Matteotti. And they make maneuvering difficult.

The one in via Sassari could be a useful intervention to test the effectiveness of the Global service for road maintenance, presented just yesterday in the Municipality: the road surface is repaired and the barriers are removed ( here the news ).
