A license plate from the Czech Republic that instead of the classic letters and numbers in progression bears the word Sardinia. It was immortalized by a reader of the Unione Sarda, this morning in Cagliari, in via Liguria, who thought of sending it to us as a curiosity.

In the Czech Republic, in fact, it has been possible to personalize license plates since 2016, but with some restrictions: a maximum of 8 characters, one of which must be a number.

In the case of the photographed car, the G of Sardinia has been replaced by a six (6). G. O, Q and W, in fact, cannot be used, just as vulgar or blasphemous words are excluded.

The average cost for a personalized license plate is around 5,000 Czech crowns, approximately 185 euros.
