Bad accident on Viale Marconi, a short distance from the Quartu entrance sign, with two cars destroyed on the roadway towards Cagliari.

The dynamics are not yet clear, but according to initial reports , the vehicles that collided head-on were an Opel and a Smart.

Two ambulances and the fire brigade intervened on the scene, and had to free the two women who were driving their respective cars from the wreckage.

They are both in serious condition, but their lives are not in danger.

The impact on traffic was severe, in both directions.
