Five minutes of roaring motorcycles to say goodbye to Gianfranco Poddesu. This is the tribute that many bikers from all over Sardinia paid at the end of the funeral ceremony for the fifty-nine-year-old who died Saturday evening in via Is Mirrionis, after a collision with an SUV while he was riding his motorcycle.

Four minutes of uninterrupted noise, outside the San Michele cemetery while the hearse was parked just beyond the gate, followed by the applause of the approximately 150 people present and another minute started by the cry of "Let's make ourselves heard" from one of the bikers who organized the salute.

On the coffin, in addition to two wreaths of flowers, there was also a photo of Poddesu riding a motorbike, his passion, with the sky in the background.
