A group of children accompanied by their parents asks to enter anyway. But the gate closes before their eyes . Families know that the start of the school year for them is suspended "indefinitely" due to the unusability of the school and the impossibility of finding a solution.

Having abandoned (for now) the idea of setting up ten tents to allow the restoration work to be carried out in the building (at least until Christmas), the possibility of a temporary transfer to the Italo Stagno school, in the Is Mirrionis district, returns.

The families ask to be able to teach in one of the eight classrooms that are empty in the next building of the Regina Elena middle school, also in via Stockholma . «You can't disappoint children», says Massimiliano Barbaro , representative of the parents of 3B. «With the eight empty classrooms, a rotating entry system could be established. One day some classes enter, the following day the others. And so on, until the problem is solved."
« Lessons », explains the principal Marcella Vacca, «are suspended until an opening provision is made . To our great regret we cannot welcome our primary school students today, we are waiting to activate the service as soon as possible." When? «The competent body will decide it», explains the principal. The competent body is the Municipality. "We are available for any solution", even a temporary transfer to Italo Stagno, but naturally with all the necessary guarantees and reassurances". Translated: the certainty of a school bus service, the availability of more ATA staff to manage the safety of children in two institutions, the canteen service etc.
Outside the gates of via Stockholma the parents protest and call the police "because school is a right and today it is denied" . In the meantime, the Digos men also arrive.
