There were those who gave them up for lost " before starting, saying that after three days we wouldn't make it. Or those who at the time of the occupation, on December 12, 2014, told us that after three days they would evict us". Instead "after 10 years and 10 days of celebration we are still here, perched on Castello".

The reflection is from the collective that manages Sa Domu, the former Manno school on via Lamarmora occupied in the Castello district of Cagliari: it is entrusted to a post written a few days after the end of the long party («10 days») organized specifically to celebrate the taking possession of the building by the Municipality.

"It is difficult to calculate the extent and temperature of the heat that brought hundreds and hundreds (to say thousands is not a blasphemy) of people who arrived in this decade, but above all for the manna party of December 14th", which continued without any kind of interruption.

The guys talk about "debates, screenings, workshops, dinners, lunches and snacks, snacks, aperitifs, improvisations, markets, performances, shows, paintings, self-productions, music, lots and lots of music. Just as we had imagined it, it was a moment accessible to everyone, without price barriers, a moment of growth and sharing among the many souls who work in the fabric of the city, full of politics and an infinite love for this city".

"We couldn't have wished for more", we read further, "we could certainly have given more and there will be plenty of moments to discuss it together in the coming weeks also to coagulate all the beautiful experiences accumulated and the grit, the ideas to defend Sa Domu, to fight in Cagliari and in Sardinia".
