New inconveniences for the people of Quartu who have been dealing with continuous blackouts for weeks now .

It was yet another night of suffering for residents in the Santo Stefano area, who had to contend with new power outages. From Via Turati to Via Boito, some homes were without electricity for extended periods, while others experienced repeated power outages and recurring interruptions, once again forcing residents to stay warm without the ability to turn on their air conditioning, and also causing appliance failures . In this regard, the Abaco consumer association urged residents to report the damages they suffered so they could then file a claim for compensation with Enel.

Since last July, residents of Quartu, living in various neighborhoods across the city, have been enduring enormous inconvenience due to constant power outages caused by overloads. Abaco, as he emphasized, is a problem "no longer linked to exceptional events, but to a chronic and unacceptable infrastructural fragility of the electricity distribution network." Meanwhile, work continues on Via Della Musica to build the Quartu Sud primary substation, which should at least partially prevent such problems in the future. This substation is designed to potentially distribute electricity to approximately 20,000 customers. It receives power from the high-voltage lines of the national transmission grid and transforms it to medium voltage for distribution throughout the area. This project aims to improve the network and the quality of service, enabling the area to transition to the energy transition. This system will provide a more efficient service.
